Sharing Information

This module is all about our mini project. We focus our attention to put on display digital tools that we have learned thus far. We choose a medium to present three or more programs we have utilized in our class. The skills we have developed over the last few weeks can be very valuable as we focus our attention to integrating technology. Teachers and students will benefit from our skills developed in the course. The mini project showcases our skills learned. With this assignment, we are also able to put together a plan of implementation in our real world.

My focus for mini project was to organize a Google Summit with my staff members. A few months ago a few teachers from my school and I participated in a Google Summit in our area. The focus of the summit was sessions by educators that are experienced using Google Apps in education. We were able to participate in a variety of sessions focused on particular Google applications. My project is to put together the same type summit with teachers in my school. Teachers will put on display what they learned and share best practices.

My plan is to use my mini project web site as a place to gather information and showcase teachers using technology. My goal is to use this project as a foundation and continue to build collaboration with teachers beyond our school building.
